It's been a while since I've been here so I decided to try it again for lunch. When you walk in the door you are immediately greeted by a friendly hello. They have an extensive menu for lunch that will make it hard to choose. You can eat-in or take out. I chose to eat-in. This time I selected Szechuan Chicken. Comes with fried rice and egg roll, $5.05. For an extra $1.95 you can order a pt. of Hot and Spicy Soup. The serving is very generous and if you can't finish it they will give you a to-go box. I will go back again.

We were in the Louisville area and wanted Chinese. Red Sun took orders online and we did a pick up 15 minutes later. The food was plentiful. That's the good part of this experience. The egg rolls were smaller than normal and over fried. My husband ordered his szechuan chicken extra spicy and it was barely spicy at all. A 4 out of 10 for spiciness. My Hunan beef came with a piece of paper in it! Also who puts green beans in either of these two dishes! They do! Too weird!! Let alone the beans weren't cooked thoroughly. Not impressed at all with Red Sun.

This place recently opened and I would say it is one of the best quick pickup Chinese Food Restaurants I have had. We tried the Orange Chicken, General Tso's Chicken and Teriyaki Chicken Combo plates. All came with Fried Rice and your choice of Pork or Vegetable Egg Rolls (we chose the Vegetable). The portion sizes were good and the food was fresh and tasty. I am a little picky on my meat and I thought the chicken in the dishes was good quality. The Orange Chicken and General Tso's Chicken were not very spicy for us so next time we might ask for a little more kick to be added. The eggrolls were really good. The prices are very reasonable (especially for the portion sizes) @ around 7.00$ for the combo plate.... We will definitely eat here again and although we live in Crestwood not LaGrange it is worth the couple minutes of extra drive time.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
